I kind of like that the modifier was x1.7. The numbers are all made up anyway, and have no real bearing on the story, but it helps ground things a bit better in being a MMORPG setting, something that this manga could use more of.

So Kuroinu, 'black dog', was named literally since he's a black cerberus lol ok

Speaking of names, my favourite thing about Cerberus is that his name means 'spotted'. While some scholars think that this means that the three-headed dog was actually a hyena, I think it's just really cute that the god of the underworld named his dog Spot.
