It's been brought up a lot already hasn't it? He even mentions that he's running out of lidocaine this chapter. The story is really nice but how much medical mats does he has? Not only the MC has used several anaestethics and other medicines, but also used several surgigal gowns gloves etc.
His medical bag should be running out by now, hope that they go Dr Jin route, where they adapted medical tools and procedures with what they have avaliable instead of him having the Doraemon's bag of endless modern day medical supplies
Maybe the realistic high stakes. Why does reading a medical manga give me more adrenaline rush than battle shounens?
I've really enjoyed this genre. One of the best is "Jin", with modern doctor who time-travels to the end of the Shogunate period. Lots of historical stuff about the Meiji restoration, but the doctor also has to make-do and reinvent a lot of technology. His struggle to make and use penicillin is an ongoing challenge, while he also finds victories in relatively simple matters of hygiene, public health, and nutrition. Why does reading a medical manga give me more adrenaline rush than battle shounens?
