Acid makes your mouth sting; pineapple and orange juice contain lots of citric acid.
Alkalai is "hot or "spicy;" not acid. So... sulphuric acid would be bad (obviously), but not spicy.
Actually, pineapple juice will kill the spice of food, and people who failed science flip out when you eat spicy food and drink it; it’s hilarious to watch people's faces when you do it.
Feel free to check wiki, or whatever; acid isn't spicy; Base or Alkaline is what the spicy in food is.
