ok, so the maiden is supposed to be sacrificed to the naruto demon to make sure it doesnt eat them, right? them why would you give the sacrifice a drug to kill themselves, in fact, why would you even inform them before you throw them into the murder hole of the fact that they are the sacrifice? wouldnt they just commit suicune to not get eaten by the naruto demon and suffer for the better part of an eternity?

Frankly not surprised father like that considering sacrificing his own daughters just to try to keep the 9 tails suppressed and keep main family happy. Although thought Kaguya would've had too much of a lead to get surpassed so easily by the other four. Even if four stay behind to trap Kaguya so fifth can hunt that doesn't mean it'll be easier for them as Lela is also hunting as well. Especially since conspirator's main strategy was to follow Kaguya until she found a ghost, have four delay her while fifth kills it since she was better at finding them rather than gaining experience by doing it themselves. In any case, if Kaguya can't beat the nine tails herself should be doable if Lela or at least MC gets involved. After all, he's like level 78 while all the other shrine maidens who fought it before were level 1 because couldn't level up from the ghosts they defeated for some reason. Or at least without killing one from other world first. Wonder how many live monsters he's got in his item box although usually item boxes won't allow living things other than plants into it?
