I have mixed feelings so far. The girl is bright, with a strong personality. She would stand out even without her luck powers, but I feel like the author is having the male mc too passive. It's like simultaneously raising one character to the top while bringing the other one down. I hope he will stand out soon too.

@Lewdhandholding - I think the male MC is exactly how he should be. For the last 7+ years, not a single thing went right for him from his education to his family. He quite literally has nothing left and is a husk of his former self. I would call it unrealistic if he was happy-go-lucky after the crap he went through. I also wish to see he male MC become confident again, but his current attitude is exactly what it should be.
