Yeh.

unless whoever you're fighter is faster, taller, and heavier than you are. not to mention trained the same way as you did if only for a little less time...
All in all, I'm surprised a Manga decided to adress the fact that there's no way a woman can beat a man when both are equally trained in martial arts (or most physical sports for that matter), granted it's just oneshot, but still.
Not necessarily the case either, we've all seen the video of Connor McGregor dancing around the mountain, if that match was in the ring McGregor would have made him tap out easily. The fact is that men have different bone structure to the point that men still have a massive advantage in basically any sport even if you account for all other factors. On top of that increased bone density, ligament and tendon strength, cardiovascular endurance. Weight and height are only the most major factors in fights between men because everything else is normalised.

I started doing a certain martial art at 16 and one of the girls there (14) had been learning it her entire life (her dad was a black belt, and the assistant coach), when I 1st came she could beat me, after 6 months I was beating her most fights, after a year there was literally nothing she could do to me
Huh... quite close to my estimations then (in the following comments, not the first one).
