I srsly don't know, author suddenly nerf Adonis to keep the series going, pretty much when he went big bullet bill it should have shot the airship, he trashed the oniwaban but suddenly he starts to fail, and we already know from the fight from some arcs ago (the old man that killed the pair of ninjas), he could have took her easier this time (why he never attack their leader until the end)

There's almost zero incentive to keep humanity alive in the first place, with all the atrocities we've seen being done.
