This manga has so much potential for it's world building but is hindered by the plot which is less interesting than literally everything else around it. I'm still reading in Hope's the author does more with the world.
It really has a weird way of setting things up, done a fine job of letting me hate any of the humans, but it is really time that it gets going somewhere. I mean, the pretty much same situation happened two times now already...
Subverting expectations only works when you've set them up in the first place. This narrative is winding around and going everywhere and nowhere, hopefully it settles into a groove soon so we can get development instead of "twist" after "twist."
@pants lmao true, I get the feeling the author is gonna pull this fake death shit a bunch of times, a ton of witches he meets will die and at the end of the story he will resurrect them all
Oh no... I am absolutely the contrary of surprise. But not the contrary of bored. The edginess was so out of place. And really dumbly done. No gonna drop now, I will keep reading it till 10~20 just to feel that smug satisfaction of being right about how bad the edginess and the subvert of expectation went. Just like GoT
"Why did he side with the witches?" "How the fuck would I know?"
Yeah why understand what drove one of "YOU" to side with the witches and instead call him crazy... Genius
