The story seems to be all over the place in terms of pacing and the power levels. The witches were made to be the ultimate power till humans developed ways to suppress magic. But now humans are able to go one on one with witches, even the most powerful of witches.

I'll probably ready till Chapter 20 at most before calling it, just in-case something about it turns around.
