I don't normally comments at all, especially on what others have said about the story so far.

But come on, it's not like you lots that are complaining, had make several plans for the long term that didn't fall part when it hit something that you didn't think was possible, at least Lucius gave Paul a 1 year breathing room to rethink all of it, & not jump head first, finds problems eveywhere, & everything is on fire by the end.

Plus, if you think that Paul is just thinking about herself, well again you can't blame her for her mindset since she had a crappy life. Like, when her parents didn't care for her & preferring her younger sister, being force to fight & hoping that she would die in a namelass war so that her sister would become the sole heir of their house, only to meet Lucius, follow him to united the Continent under one banner, & finally making her own family that she would care for.

Also, why do you think we are seeing Ribo's & Donua's families, after a long time. They came to knock some sense into her since she now need someone else to talk with. Plus it may help talking to an already married couples on how they work out their differences.

You not liking the fact it is not a romantic love triumph over all story is something but rationalising it by insulting the main character is another.

Aww hew grew up a little, but im feeling sad for his future if this is going in that direction , but i think she will overthink it in the next few chapters
