Very happy for Paul!! Finally she can settle down in life.
Also before people start saying weird stuff about how Paul doesn’t deserve compromises: She has been born and raised in a world in which women have almost everything taken from them. She lost her family, her home, her childhood, her agency, all because she was expected to give them up for the sake of a man’s word. Now she can actually CHOOSE something in her life, she wants things to feel equal. Something she earned through her own efforts, under ‘her own name’, it makes sense she doesn’t want one of the few things in the world she has a right over, to be taken. The building blocks of the story started with the inequality of man and women, so as a recurring theme it makes sense to right this wrong: starting with marriage rights.
