She'll get ridiculed for being female because she should be "washing dishes" or she'll bring bad luck to the war, but then the moment these boys can't beat her they're like, "well she doesn't look like a woman anyways so we'll pretend she's not."
Misogyny at its finest, folks. I admire her courage for keeping true to her name and not concealing her gender, because forreal it would've been infinitely easier to pretend to be a guy.
