given that MC has lived 10 years in this crazy post-apocalyptic cultivation zombie mutation world, i wish the MC was more proactive, instead of reactive, at killing threats. at least he seems to be doing alright with other things like getting a head start in cultivating, and planning ahead on who he wants to meet and where he wants to go.

This is how a child writes. At least in DBZ when Vegeta let Imperfect Cell become Perfect Cell it was in line with his character and his arrogance.

Did the rest of the Zhao family members and goons flee already, leaving only this Han Li clown behind? Because if the rest of them are still hanging around, they should be targets for zombie Han Li now. It would be an unfortunate writing pattern for this story if the zombies only target the hero, never any villainous humans. Zombies shouldn't care who their human target is.
