Just don't smoke. Its really bad for you and everyone else. I sure hope his new powers fix that because otherwise he should look for a safe space to quit smoking.

I feel like the ethical and practical move would be to save them and teach them how to fight the zombies. Sure, that means resources are split between more people, but that also means more people to help his group survive—people with training that could prove useful, even.

@solaz not true-keep in mind that sound is attracting those zombies. how loud do you think gun fire is? also..pay attention to the movement speed of these zombies...based on context they arent as nimble at this level. all of this shows that any action to make the police retreat or fallback to strategize is possible and not as dangerous as you think it would be. realistically speaking the other person is correct. thats 10 whole potential allies that would be on your side. here's the negative to the variable though..not everyone can cultivate. so there is a chance that none of those 10 can offer zombie slaying prowess. so either the MC already knows that it's pointless or he just simply want to play it safe is the reason why he did what he did. the writer obviously want things to draw out as long as possible so it's unlikely that he'll get an army of zombie killers on his side from the get-go. this is not like the typical isekai manga where the MC is blessed with game breaking skills and simply walk through the park. this MC will have to try his best to follow his original footstep to get to where he's at and continue from there because he messed up the first time. so the obvious choice for the writer was chapter 28 haha

You know, as far as survivors for your post apocalyptic party goes having a bunch of trained cops in your debt seems like one of the better options. Evil cop trope aside, you're probably going to struggle to find more trustworthy and well trained random people in a zombie scenario. Well, if you live in a place with decent cops anyway.

Cops almost always being useless or bad unless they are the protagonist in zombie fiction kind of gets on my nerves sometimes.

@Firefly Yeah especially since police have training in CROWD CONTROL, aka one of the best ways to deal with the riot that is a zombie horde.

@kanaloa i dont think they would listen to a young guy shouting fall back or listen to me while they are fighting the zombies close range lol, it has a very low chance, there is also the chance of them not believing in what the mc would tell them and also let him lead , there is also the question of "how do you know all this", well all of this is prolly why the mc didn't bother coz its simply a pain in the ass and too risky, and also that he has his own objectives, the cops would slow him down, imo i dont think its the time yet to get more hands, maybe one or two but not many. the two of them at this point are enough considering that most of the zombies didnt evovle yet.

If it's some average Chinese city with a million inhabitants, it's a really bad idea to start a huge gunfight. Whatever happens to those cops, they brought it upon themselves. On the other hand, teaming up with them would be extremely dangerous since they seem to be full of bad ideas. Depending on the situation, an incompetent ally can be worse than a competent enemy.
