I wonder if japan had a similar 'octomom situation' (tho i never followed that story when it first came out so idk if she literally gave birth to octuplets versus having 8 kids in 2-3 years where as ppl would prolly space it out a bit more, but even 3 kids seems like it'd be a lot)

If I remember the statistics correctly, Asians are less likely to have twins than people of other races. Therefore, Asian countries have historically had a special attitude towards twins.
