feels like the story is way too rushed, did they just do a random 3 week time skip from when he arrived to when he met up with her? also there is no transition between things he is just randomly in a new place and situation, some things happen, then he is in an unrelated place doing something completely different, some thing happens but nothing is ever explained

the 3 weeks were about her and how long she needed to learn that technique, she was just impressed how he got it instantly while she needed 3 weeks
