@Raghalin nah dude, it's just chapter 0 was confusing and jumping around, I thought it was a prologue, which is why I had that reaction, - he was show jailed and tortured and then suddenly got a grenade grenade and a book and a mecha arm. Fortunately this is only a teaser of sorts or a synopsis, and the actual prologue (which is basically first 9 chapters) does explain everything.
