@PeachyBee Probably cause you realize that death is final, no matter how tragic it is, and grieving and moving on is a natural process. There's a reason why in most media, revive the dead=tragic outcome, and it's usually a goal a villain/anti-hero works towards. I think the MC's motivations would be more compelling if they were in a coma, or even if he wanted to go back in time so he can stop their deaths.

But maybe that's just why I don't really care for the mc, but adore his sidekick.
