As others have noted, the kanji on page 19 is 感謝 (gratitude); the translator missed the "heart" radical 心 at the bottom of the first character, hence the confusion. So the translated phrase would be something like "Alshuna, I am grateful", or, given his pomposity, "Alshuna, you have my gratitude".
