hm now she's in a competitive environment and there's the cultural differences... It was competitive before but there's a risk of mind-games, maybe even sabotage. Suddenly she's now surrounded by a lot of different influences that could distract, even though the school itself is limiting the chance... Plus she picked up on how they're diverse but they've all been molded into the style of Royal Ballet, I wonder if she'll decide this is something she Must master for her own sake and appetite but refuse to limit herself to just doing what Nichols and the School wants

So many new characters after lots of chapters with Shouko and co. Feels weird. Also cultural barriers and just a ton of competitive high strung hormonal kids, even Kanade's gonna have a tough time I bet. Wonder who's that sus person that commented on the Youth Grand Prix.

First night, already a fight. Going to be interesting finding out what caused that since it upset the one girl enough to lash out, the other girl got scared massively by the reaction, then you have the object of the first girl's ire who we saw having issues with the first girl.
What was the first girl's name anyway? Evelyn Fox I think? I had to check back but she ended up winning part of YAGP there, so it seems she'll be one of the familiar yet unknown faces here. Though I wonder how her relationship with Kanade will be after finding out she has the eye of Abby. That can easily lead to envy and/or jealously.

new characters are always so fun! Excited to see kanades magic with making friends even if they don't like her at first, clearly some tension already. Wonder who was creeping on the studio? I would assume Matt unless it's a character not introduced yet

This is fine but too much focus on Kanade is boring. I want to see how Shoko is doing in Monako.

True that Shouko is part of main character but Kanade always been true protagonist in this manga

Kanade's the main character, of course she's going to get the lion's share of the attention. But it's obvious that at some point the series will check in on Shouko, Ema and Miriam just like it did with Sakura.

@Maplefield I could see it being that. Not fighting over a guy per se but maybe there are rules about fraternizing and relationships. For someone like Evelyn, who's already had a boyfriend and is coming from a more permissive and laissez faire American culture, I could see it annoying her. Especially with an uptight stickler (as she perceives it) like Rebecca there to hound her.
