I don't think so... on one hand, they don't know that he sacrificed himself and killed the Demon Queen... for the simple fact that he slaughtered, and quite viciously, all of them first.

On the other hand, do you really think any of them are going to say:
"Sure, I forgive you, I forgive you for making me suffer miserably and killing me in the cruelest way and with the greatest desperation".

Imagine that the person you trusted or loved the most did something like that to you... even with the best of reasons... and then tell me again that "it's a bigger advantage if they remember"... clearly this story will not go for that route.

Okay I'd think it's a bigger advantage if they remember. Now he can easily explain the reason this all happened and they got to retain their memory in the past was because he sacrificed himself together with the demon lord and reset everything. This was his plan to save everyone otherwise why bother he already won.

Unless the author has something planned where he can't explain it.

i usually think complaining about the art is vain but this art just doesn't convey the weight of what he was forced to do

alright im back after reading about half of the novel and if you're interested in the story i think you should read the manga
after a strong opener this story has good moments every once in awhile, but the rest is a slog

For whatever it's worth the system does actually get an explanation later on(and sort of early on that was cut out here) which is far more than most stories I've read with systems
