That's probably the last option.
I'd guess she takes the caretaker as the one responsible, or maybe even one of the other servants that remained. Or she will go alone and end up being seated among the king's children because the prince would just want it, his sister is curious and the parents would maybe go along. Or even that the "ghost" would just decide to appear to everyone else as her father and only she would know the truth. But her father meeting her... that's preposterous, I wouldn't even believe we are in the middle of October and think it's an april's joke post.

Parents is manga/manhwa/manhua need to get to parenting, they are doing a lousy job of it.
