Just like 95% of manhwa and manhua, after the first handful of chapters with actual effort put into the art, a hidden timer starts ticking down that foretells the inevitable arrival of lazy CGI to reduce production costs.

What I don't understand is why they never/rarely touch up the CGI by drawing/filtering over it, or just opt for a more simplistic artstyle for backgrounds, like the two guards at the barricade. And if you must, maybe avoid CGI assets that would look awkward in a game from 2000.
