To be honest I don't get this MC's behavior at all. I would have just subjugated the whole demon race if I was him make sure they know who is the boss...
But the author seems to be ... handicapped. Dude is clearly a godlike existence compared to the rest but nah dawg lets treat him like crap. Every other character is brain dead for some reason as well.

@yldDavid I think that the dude who brainwashed his "kids" or whatever maybe has some type of spell that's affecting the world or the demon continent at least to make sure that no one would believe that he is the original demon lord. My issue specifically is the behavior of "oh you did some horrible shit without any explanation and your reason for it was because you feel bad or sad so I'll forgive you and pretend nothing happened and no punishment whatsoever" this type of shit is what I'm tired of like if there was at least a punishment that would be fine like make sure that actions have consequences or everything loses it's importance cause actions lose meaning if everything would be forgiven regardless of what you did because you would be forgiven if you did that thing because you are sad or angry. and that makes the only possible villains in this story is a villain that is psychotic who likes to do evil for evil's sake which is the worst type of villain in my opinion.
