Saki seems to have fairly easily accepted that she’s attracted to women (or at least, Kannon), but I wonder if self-acceptance won’t be more difficult for Kannon—“Oh, god, yet another way in which I’m different from everyone else!”

Saki has known she's gay since elementary, it's half the reason she stuck with piano to begin with, but her personality of never causing trouble, keeping everything to herself, and no examples of other lesbians pretty much ensured she stayed in the closet. On the other hand, with her personality, I can see Kanon just not caring outside of it determining who she is attracted to.
