Why he is now an evil spirit in your opinion? Any theories?

@blueoddog To be honest, I think her past self is a bit suspicious. She was laughing just then, so she might be the evil one. After all, it's odd how each of her lives have been murdered when she gets reincarnated. The monk said before too that he didn't see 2 spirits next to her before when she was young, and the guy seems to be the one that's always following her around.

If not, then maybe he is considered an evil spirit now since he's been stuck onto her for so long and has a grudge against her?
This is all I theory tho, I just started reading this lol

ugh.... the panels being cut up like this really hurts the pacing, or i dont know if its just an issue with me but i can really see much blank space between panels
