I'm imagining that, in chapter 8, God descended upon the world to bring judgement, and in doing so saw that His wondrous creation had been reduced to nothing more than the setting of a generic "lame boy meets popular girl" manga and so He flew off into the sunset never to be seen again. We'll start seeing the repercussions a few volumes down the line.
