How can the same chapter both say that Gilbert's ability works and doesn't work on other people? It would be far too big of a deal if it worked on others in its full capacity, so perhaps Gilbert can only affect others in a minimal, temporary manner. Otherwise Gilbert would be perhaps the most powerful person in the kingdom, by granting youth to anyone paying him astronomically or giving him (undeserved) political power and titles.

to be fair, she forget about Gilbert and Gilbert's wife, she was prob like "there no one who need it right now" and not to mention if people found out that knight boi have power to cure all disease, many people would come to him, would he like it? probably not
