I love the manga ver of new gate rather than anime

The anime was badly animated and it skipped a lot of the world building so that's a low bar. I still enjoyed it for what it was and hey it got me into this manga.

It could've been worse as well. The same studio in the same season also did Sasakoi and that was a much bigger disaster

i think its not meant to be wiped instantly but slowly fading away due to time, like how people usually forget something they dont see often and how the affinity dropped when time go

Thats how I feel when a manga I've loved in the past doesn't get a new chapter for months. sure I may remember it. but my interest and love for it just died out

Glad a character could remind Shin to return their loyalty after he once again took the first chance to ditch them and spend an extremely long time on a side errand without them

The revelations of this one former NPC are still not enough to balance the time taken on this side quest that has been going on for far longer than it should have.
