I get a little miffed at Shin-san for his slow attitude towards Schnee, but... I guess he's just a sane person who was gaming for... fun? When the whole "death game" started, maybe he was that 1/5x10⁸⁷⁵ in all of humanity that was a dedicated gamer who doesn't have massive social issues?
Because if so, he would just see Schnee as a program, or construct; seeing her as a living, thinking, and feeling being with emotions that exist (much less reciprocate those emotions!) should really take a while.

Well, it does make sense that other support NPCs not affiliated with him or his friends would also still be around. And that such NPCs probably could not be killed permanently like players when the world was still a death game, so after the players disappeared, they were left behind still carrying dangerous ideologies.

I love the reactions of those three when Millie revealed her vision was Schnee embracing someone with a smile. The two guys in particular seemed like absolute wingmen at that moment. Tiera seemed a little jealous, and on more than one occasion this chapter.

One of the rare times the calm and cool Schnee is forced to blush in embarrassment.
Just kiss her already! That face is just asking for a kiss! She already kissed him, you say? Well, kiss her again!

I think he accepted that the people in this world are real people (including the NPCs from the game) almost right away, and the reason he doesn't accept Schnee's advances I think has been pretty well established to be because he still has feelings for Marino, and it seems like he doesn't know for sure whether she's dead, alive in this world or alive in the real world, so he can't really move on from her either.
