the sudden change of these two to those big ass monster pretty much going back to how this is a world based on online game, which is a shame though because the whole tension on this arc is interesting. kinda weird that the newly joined follower of shin barely reacted upon his return with the whole thing with the tiger guy one being so bittersweet

Boss corpse poofed into valuable loot. Much of this world is still very game-like. I'd hate for the final twist to be that Shin died IRL right after he cleared the last boss and that this is some sort of afterlife for everyone who died in-game. Tiera's secret will probably disprove that and might even serve as a clue to how he ended up here. It has to be a big secret for how much and how long they've been teasing it.

I kinda feel for saintess Hermie and her anxiety at her helplessness. She was written to be a damsel-in-distress, destined to be captured and rescued. But she's not completely useless given she has a power she's already using to help people. By "child", I assume she meant Millie who probably told her stories about Wil in the short time they were (co-hostages) together.

And now I feel like she's a possible love interest #3 for Wil. Or maybe I'm coping too hard for a side ship to appear. Hmm.
