That little black smithing side plot was so masterfully done. The little emotional expressions and the master blacksmith’s approach to all the information he received…geez that’s just such nice storytelling in a manga format.

And the spicy moments have returned, it’s good to see that Yuki is back, the beast disguises were great. I feel like they’re waiting to reveal the Schnee identity till the big battle Tamamo and the Ichinose faction.

Thanks for the batch translations! I missed this one so much.

I have done some smithing, IRL; not a lot, and I'm not super good, but... I am ALWAYS down for crafting in the other world, though (FFXIV, in my case). I love the idea of crafting, the feel of working wood on a lathe or heating and banging metal; creating a thing can almost br a feeling like getting high.
If I could actually use magic when crafting?! Holy shit, you'd never see me again; there would just be me, working in a ramshackle building with noises coming out!

So, yeah... that smith?
I see that.

...

In other news, YAY FOR SCHNEE!

I think we can all agree that a chapter without Schnee is like a year without summer or sunshine.

If I wasn't already married, I'd wife Schnee Raizar in a hot second... except I'm not Shin, so that's never gonna happen.

I love the reactions of everyone of Shin's would-be suitors when they first meet Schnee. "Oh, crap, I thought I could compete with her?"

That smith was awfully tall for a Dwarf.

And I see that he's in good company. Glad I'm not the only one reading this who feels the same way. If you'll excuse me I'm going to go listen to some Wind Rose now.
