A very human chapter. I'm glad Shin cared enough for Girard to cry for his passing. None of that "he's just an NPC" or "men don't cry" BS. He is kinda paradoxically not fragile enough to be afraid of showing weakness in front of a woman, and technically his subordinate at that. Schnee is a person to him, a trusted and caring friend willing to comfort him at this low point in his life.

I have no idea if the anime will reach this point, but I hope they don't flub it here.
