@Wolvenworks: It is not about the general plot because it is just a bullshit reason to start an Isekai, I am talking about the background, the world, the build-up, anything that supposed to be a set up for character or plot point for the reader to make any sense.
For example, why the heck should we care about Schneze or whatever she is? Their reunion supposed to be full of emotion, but actually, it fell flat because the author never bothered to set her up, make the reader care about her and Shin relationship, how it affected her when he supposed to disappear over 1000 of years
Same thing about the beastman as well. The author just randomly dropped his name, said he was one of Shin NPC and is dying. Then Shin just casually walk into his country, talk abit, pull out some random weapon, said a bunch of jargon then they fight in a most boring battle ever where it was a dick measuring contest about who has more stupid name for an attack. And then the beastman died.
