I played Disgaea 1 and 2. I actually overleveled my Laharl so much that I made it impossible to get the 'good' ending, lol. He kept counter killing the last boss, since he was 200 or so levels above him.
I don't remember any 'reincarnating into a different class but keeping your abilities and stats' mechanic, though.

Haven't played that. Its a Nexon game, and I avoid those like the plague.

Not a fan of idle or clicker type games. I was more referring to an actual mmorpg style that New Gate had.

@Riger Huh, funny. In my perspective, I find little difference to idle/clicker games with mmorpgs since I just watch number grow in said genres.
Though I know an mmorpg where you repeat levels to get stronger, just can't pull the title from the back of my head...
I remember now, Cabal online, hearsay from a drinking acquaintance, lol.

When you transmigrate you keep a portion of your stats and all your skills. For non-story characters, they literally change shape too.

This new armour is not cosmetic but it's not the sort of gear to equip when fighting a single game boss, it's more suited (haha) to fighting big lower-powered mobs. He's also got a lot of extra status boosts and level-ups from fighting Origin, the last boss at the start of the series and this armour comes with, ahem, "penalties" which he can nerf to some extent now.

No talking about being nerfed or not but it doesn't look that bad.
