@LeFlash for certain manga, I can totally understand why. Shin is strong. Probably the strongest in that world. Like many other manga, the moment other nations hear about it, they will probably do whatever it take to bring him to their side. This create that unnecessary drama and cliches that most reader hate. Like taking lover hostage...blah blah blah.

On the other hand, it might just be part of an armor set and he is just too lazy to explain his identity to some future fodders.

In the LN it's Vol. 5, Chapter 2.
Be warned that the LN seems to drag out certain action scenes and makes the chapter feel like a word salad. At least, that was my impression when I read it some odd years ago.

I imagine the ABC ranks of other gaming isekais seemed more sensible.

Always love dem beholder type monsters, where meeting their eye means instant death. It is a bit like basilisks/medusae, except its not as boring, and meeting one makes you call out hax. Still remember the eye-slime from MoL, and I guess this one is kinda similar to a slime too.

It is a groundhogsday-esque novel, except spanning a month. First became prevalent on r/rational, but then spread to a few other places.

@kenkagejack Actually it somewhat is, the Game had a Reincarnation System though which is why so many people are stronger than their level would suggest and why there is such a difference between people with similar level.
