God, so pointless, I'm curious about why this manga have 8.5 rating 🙃

To be fair, the story has it's strong points and avoids some common pitfalls. I'm not saying you can't enjoy this. Personally I like it more than any of the revenge-wank manga with unbelievable cartoon villains that totally aren't a stand in for that one girl who called you a gross booger-eater seven years ago and you've just been NURSING that rage baby.

Also manga form alleviates some of the long winded chuuni skill gumbo, so that's nice.

Wasn't Shin's status ailment/mental attack immunity just because of the Cheat Title he received from the "Origin" final boss? I felt like it was completely unrelated to his High Human race. Unless there was something the manga glossed over.

That doesn't look good for Kaede. I wonder why Yuzuha didn't try to say anything? Was it a secret from Tiera that she could talk? Seems ominous, but if I'm wrong then great. I don't want to see her suddenly become an enemy out of the blue.

Nope, a mental attack from a dozen or so evil eyes won't do something to Shin. But it was because of his race? Not a skill? High humans sure are overpowered... even more than high elves vs normal elves, I guess.
