Well it'd be nice for like fancomics and stuff that would never get picked up by a human scanlation group, assuming it ONLY does translation and doesn't gather other information. But if this ever gets a physical English release (which I would absolutely buy), I would at least expect human proofreaders.

Like even before the AI boom, I've noticed some grave mistakes from actual publishers that are suspiciously similar to what you would get if you ran the original text through Google Translate. If I'm paying money for a release, I at least want to know they at least tried to deliver an adequate experience

Edit: should clarify that I feel this way when the artists themselves use the tool. Scanlation without the creators' knowledge is a different can of worms and illegality, but I think if we are on this site, we are already aware of that
