I had this to say about the quality and speed of scanslation groups in another chapter commentary thread...

Besides, proper scanslation actually takes awhile. If you start work at the end of the third month and actually put effort into it with proper translation, editing, proofreading, cleaning, redrawing, typesetting, and quality checking, then it actually can take a whole month. Not unless your group is a fucking machine (and I don't mean MTL) - an absolute unit of a scans group that eats manga for breakfast and shits out high-quality translated chapters by the end of the day.
