As I said. Gospel is a strong word. There is a lot of decent ideas that go in, but a fundamental conceit that some concepts just don't apply when you are sufficiently edgy.

That wasnt a Longsword mate, that was a fullblown Claymore... which isnt made for 1v1 Combat since its just Bulky. Greatswords were used to create Space around the wielder and to break some Bones (Greatswords werent as sharp as they are portraied in Media).

Also, Crossguards dont do shit against Greatswords. Trying to block or parry would just break your wrists and disarm you on the spot.

The translator's work seems to be a bit sloppy in general with there being a fair few grammatical mistakes in the prior chapters.

Huh…you’re wrong then. 31 is the latest ch for the original JP/raws (Rawkuma is a raw site). Even on J-novel (official english button) their latest is vol 5, which has 4 chs -> ch23 (yes i counted).

Which also means ch24 has the wrong vol number (it should be on the next vol)

Maybe get your wannabe HEMA stick out of your butt and actually look what happens on the pages in front of you.

Also magical enhancements on muscles for women would give them a major speed boost compared to men, since their muscles are much shorter and smaller, making a nimble/agile character actually feasible, compared to the real world, where it can happen, but is not as easy or probable.

A handguard would be extremely useless in this fight, since it she has no interest in binds or direct blocks.
