I've been reading the light novel English translation and they use "Cinders".

Also while I can see someone not liking "Cinderella", I've always disliked "Ash-Smeared" or "Ash-Crowned" more, since it seems too unwieldy to be nickname. The official decision to use "Cinders" seems fine by comparison. Or just call her "Ash".

Funny thing, the characterization of the cast actually do fit otome games.
They are either sweeter than sugar, batshit crazy or both.

I've been reading the light novel English translation and they use "Cinders".

They use "Cinders" or "Lady Cinders" depending on the context. Generally, people from the Assassin's Guild tend to call her "Lady Cinders" and It's how she knows to be wary of them when someone calls her that.

You know it. Two girls who have great (murder)chemistry, understand each other and accept (that) each other (are just dancing down the murderpath), are both screwed up in some fashion, and realise right off the bat that one of them is going to die by the others' hands (or both of them!)

Yep, she def lost her purpose of surviving somewhere in the story. She no longer just kills to remove threats to her well being, she's now willing to kill just for the sake of killing; she views life not her own as something to disregard.
