Why does he need to be taught such basic human emotions at his age?

I know, I AM autistic IRL, that's why I can tell the signs when I see it.

What this kid is doing is what is known as "over correcting" in the autism community.

His overly focused, unblinking gaze is a trait some higher functioning autists do as a way to counter our urge to not look at someone's eyes directly.

Which instead tends to come off as "creepy" to normal people.

I needed quite some years of therapy for me to stop this over correcting of the gaze myself, so to be able to look to people in the eyes normally without looking like I am gonna eat them with my eyeballs.

Now if this character trait was written on purpose or accidental from the author is it's own question.

(As you can tell, the over correcting thing to appear normal applies to writing too, sorry for the long text)

To me it felt like he was written as autistic on purpose, just seemed to be the obvious reason on why he is like that, but maybe the mangaka just thought "wow the mc I created is so quirky" and didn't even realize

This "have sex with me" gag has gone really stale by now. Actually it was already old by the second chapter for me.

If I were Ichika I'd have punched him in the face already (and perhaps a kick to the nuts for good measure) for hearing that god knows how many times already. She's been incredibly patient with him all this time, but it ends this chapter. Finally, her blunt outburst really said what I thought before: her shiro gyaru traits are coming across as to make her seem slutty and easy, and that it was very disrespectful and scummy of him to try and take advantage of that. That finally got through to him, or so I hope it did. This was actually kinda cathartic to see.

So I don't wanna see that "have sex with me" as a gag anymore after this.
