This reminds me of something that happened to me on nightshift last year at my factory. So, there's a company ghost rumored to roam around the main building, as people on night shift often claim to see a shadow of a tall man in the corner of their eye, but it always disappears if they look for it. It may or may not be the spirit of a coworker who died 10 years ago from a heart attack. Anyway, I'm working a 16 hour shift because some idiot caught a cold, it's 4 in the morning, my car is the only one in the parking lot, I have super tight tolerance parts to run, within .0004 with an angle span of .002, really tight stuff, been awake for nearly 22 hours, as I didn't expect a double shift. I hear moaning all of a sudden. Thought it was one of my machines or the coolant pump, so I ignored it. Heard it again as I went on break; it came from High Volume, where no one was running and all the machines were off. I passed by and saw the shadow. Turned my head, it was gone. I got mad, though I can't say why. Went and binged on honey buns, flipped off the HV area on my way back through, and finished my shift in a terrible mood, wanting to beat something up.
So, yeah. I get him.
