I went snooping around Maakia's twitter and I thought "there's more shit!?"

Literally. There's more Maakia art and stories. Welp I found another artist to fixate on.

Edit: Aight I guess I'll give my side on how I see this 10 page comic.
Our beautiful "perfect" student president Akane strives to be the perfect student president. Since there is so much pressure on her and a lot of expectation, she has anxiety. One day, she was working on some papers and I guess work and expectation piled on so much of her that she threw up in the classroom. A fellow student saw her (who is the POV MC we follow) and Prez Akane is willing to do anything to keep her perfect image. The next day, MC then tries to talk to Akane in wanting to help her because he now sees that she is trying to be the perfect student president, but the pressure got to her. He then helps with the student council work with Prez Akane overseeing the work (and being cautious of him). Weeks pass and Akane finally confronts him why he is doing this. MC has probably never seen her smile so that's what he wanted to do: help Akane with her work so the expectation doesn't feel as heavy.
So what's the deal with the vomit? Because Akane has built herself up to be "the perfect student council president" she tried to exceed the expectation. Over time, pressure and expectation built up inside of her that she threw up. A perfect president shouldn't be sick or let the pressure of being "perfect" get to her, right? That is kinda what this short story is about. Social expectation can affect you negatively. You don't need to be "perfect". Be the hard worker you are and not the worker who works themself hard.

..That's it? Thanks for the translation.
Yeah I really gotta agree with this. Very grateful that you've completed it, but now that I can read it all, I have to ask "what is the point of this story?" MC catching her throwing up doesn't seem to have been relevant at all, and no explanation for why she was. Seems like a random event to trigger a meeting between the two for a very shallow romcom story.

Aside from her own problems where she feared being used, plenty of people have met their loved ones in less stomach churning ways.

Not everything needs to be deep enough for 120 chapters to fly by before they finally confess.

Yeah but I was expecting more chapters than this, it's very lackluster as is. But I do understand that these kind of one page manga really aren't designed for that most of the time.
