Okay, that bolt-action rifle can't work. If the sights are above the bolt, then there is a full bridge there, which means the bolt handle must either be further forward or behind the bridge in order for the action to cycle.

@Ouranos: Scans were done by me personally. I import manga from Japan and scan them in. I've been importing a lot of this author's work, actually, and still need to scan more of it in.
