It's using the US as an identity of power. This is something that appeared in the US that they can't even handle. The Korean person comes in to save the day and do what others cannot. That's all at least pretty clear.

Europe? Not any particular country but Europe? Is it..the European Union? Is it trying to do the same thing as with the US? Project an identity of power that is eventually beaten by the Korean person? I just am unclear what it's trying to do by making Europe this singular identity.
