So his unique ability puts his exp to his ego lvl which he can use... is that really it just to keep him at lvl 1? For now it sounds like a pretty lame ability. Hope it has more than just hiding his lvl.

So his unique ability basically just allows him to level like normal again. Also, that has got to be the worst transition I have ever read, we didn’t get to see him react to his new power, or get used to it, instead we are given a time skip to where he’s immediately good and comfortable with it. They literally skipped the most interesting part!

it's actually weirder where ALL player can't lv up and basically just get low or get OP from the get go (there's 1 manhwa like that, pretty popular too)

so, i guess he's gotten stronger by "collecting" pokemon now?
