IIRC, it wasn't like that in the novel anyway. She wasn't a prisoner, and left before the Wu started the rough stuff. (Because she had an inkling they were about to start, but you know. No dramatic escape. And no nice man child.)

Dru might have had some bad experiance dating himself if he's thinks like that -.-
Altough we do try to force our modern belives on people whose outlook is vastly diffrent than ours. You may critisize them for that but in reality you can still see the same behaviour in some modern countries like india, arabian countries, africa, china(though less now), where daughters are considered as usless expense (that won't bring anything profitable to family).

😅😅😅 What woman/women hurt the translator? I have to vehemently disagree with that assessment at the end.

Wow... completely disagree with everything the translator Dru said at the end. Dude conveniently forgets that she would be treated as a tool, locked up and used only to breed heirs and possible blood warriors, does he think women deserve this kind of life?
Even her early decisions had nothing wrong, she and her father trusted the Wu family so there was no reason for her to accept being a burden to the mc.

Gonna have to stop reading those notes at the end, that was pathetic.

Despicable comment by the translator. You'd have be morally retarded to think this girl is anything but the best human being in this manhua at this point.

Maybe the novel portrays it differently, but I recall the protag being the one to turn down the idea of getting with her, while she wasn't particularly pushing either way.

Wow the translator sure has a weird logic behind his thoughts.. Surely the girl hasn't done anything to deserve any dislike, and I see it only logical trying to warn the person that saved her life (least she could do to repay that favor)..
Instead the translator thinks she should just remain being a breeding machine for a mentally handicapped/child minded adult, in a family of a-holes and overall bad people.. Jeez

The translator is probably a non-westerner with a non-western view on morality, social norms etc.
