Is that tulip? I think I read somewhere tulip is poisonous...
I think the queen is already suspicious of him, I mean he deliberately picking ingredients even though he could just order them from the royal pharmacy or something. Also, he happens to pick ingredients on the path where the queen will pass from the queen dowager palace. Even if he is an honest person and not evil as pictured in the manhwa, his action will raise a lot of questions.

I'm glad that the mother seems to like the MC. Tho after all the implied traitors and murders, I can't help but be somewhat suspicious of her (and everyone else). Can't trust anyone, not even yourself.

@MrFunplace I agree. Even though I don't know if tulips are poisonous or not, his location and actions make him immediately suspicious. I think MC should suspect him if only bc she seems to have read a lot of stories like these.
