oh I like this concubine she's nice, though despite that the harem aspect makes it difficult to read, I understand that it's another culture but as the mc said, the emperor going around having children and that just stings, especially since he's so soft

usually when manhua include a harem I can stand it because there's no children and the mc comes out on top with all the affection but this just hurts man, its like she always being cheated on

Thanks for the chapters! I have no issue with a royal harem story being realistic, with the concubines and the emperor having offspring and active relationships on the side, so I’m just enjoying all of it. I really love what the queen did for the new fei concubine, seeing her being kind to another worrying parent is super cute. Im sure it’ll give her brownie points with the concubine’s brother too, since he seems to have powers of some sort to know she was reincarnated.

I think I watched too much Chinese drama growing up, I don't have any problem with the harem setting (better than a manga where all these girls like a completely useless guy). I have a problem with how "soft" the Emperor is. He should at least find out who poisoned the Empress and give them a beheading or something.

That said, I have a slight problem with the MC. She seems to have fully embraced her role as Empress, to duke it out with the other concubines for the Emperor's favour. As an isekai character from the MODERN era, she seems to have no need for an adjustment period. Her affection for the Emperor is also a bit weird, like she's fine with any guy that's hot or something.

@Meo yea, I agree,, I find it a bit odd, I thought maybe the author has more plot so they can't waste the chapters on the adjustment period. Although, I would've liked if they at least mentioned that some time has passed so the plot would go a bit smoother.

@Chuepomi, I really liked it too, I never saw any dramas or movies before that focused on what it's like in the inner court, I wish there would be more of the empress and concubines' duties, as they rank similar to officers
